When an engine experiences extreme overheating, the head gasket often blows, allowing oil and coolant/antifreeze to mix and/or entire into the cylinders. This can sometimes also cause damage to the cylinder walls. When a head gasket blows, the engine require, at minimum, replacement of the head gasket(s) and resurfacing of the head(s). When damage to the cylinder walls occurs, the block of the engine also needs to be repaired, or the entire engine replaced. Regardless of the extent of the damage, on most vehicles we are able to repair or, if needed, replace the engine and get your car running like new! Feel free to contact us regarding your specific vehicle.
